Entry to the Australian Optimist National Championship requires that each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of not less than AUD$5,000,000.00 (recommend AUD$10,000,000.00) per incident or the equivalent.
Insurance policies are available from Club Marine and Nautilus among others.
